The SICHEM® product range is our PTFE based sheet solution.

Using a special production process we obtain the biaxially orientation of the PTFE particles, resulting in the same mechanical strenght both in longitudinal and transverse directions of the sheet.
With this process and the addition of specific fillers the creep and cold flow effect typical of standard PTFE gaskets are reduced.

The SICHEM® product range is developed for processes ranging from cryogenic temperatures up to +260° C and is suitable across the entire range of aggressive media (ph 0 to 14).

SICHEM® is the right solution to achieve the lowest creep value, and seal integrity when it is vital to achieve minimum leakage and conventional PTFE based materials are not suited.

PTFE is a fluorcarbon solid that has an incredible chemical resistance and conformability. However it also has little memory and recovery and for this reason, under load, it deforms and has a high creep value.

This problem can be solved using SICHEM® products.

Using a patented process, we can also produce materials that have special controlled microporosity and a close-cell structure. Products from the SICHEM® family achieve high compression and sealability at low bolt torque values. They are optimized for applications with irregular sealing surfaces, compromised load capacity, or replacement of envelope gaskets.

SICHEM® is one of the gasketing materials product range and today it includes 12 references recongized and specified by the main international end users in the following fields: Chemical, Petrochemical (refining), Pharmaceutical, Food&Berverage and others and also by EPC comapanies that used SICHEM® products in many different project around the world.
